Camping Almafra is a fully pet-friendly and we have a selection of holiday homes that are able to accept them.
Walks to Benidorm
Walk to Benidorm in around 30 minutes from Camping Almafra
Furthermore, we have several walks close by and plenty of land close by to give them a run. One of our favourite walks is the path at the side of the campsite. This takes you passed all of the citrus groves on your right, with a stunning mountain backdrop. Follow this past into the adjoining road and it leads you directly to the Rincon de Loix area of Benidorm which takes around 30 minutes. To get to central Benidorm is approximately an hours walk.
Walks to Albir
Take a stroll to Albir with 2 different routes from Camping Almafra
In the opposite direction, you have a walk through the Casa Blanca urbanisation which leads you to Albir. This is the longer of the 2 routes but you’ll be at the tram station of Albir in around 30 minutes. You can also follow the path at the side of the tram lines. This sounds a strange option, but a common route to walk to Albir in the shortest time.
Pet friendly beaches
10 dog friendly beaches on the Costa Blanca close to Almafra Campsite
Our area of the Costa Blanca has some of the best pet-friendly beaches in the whole of Spain. We have a total of 10 beaches where they can swim and let loose. The closest dog friendly beach to the campsite is L’Olla beach, which is just passed La Olla in Altea – close to the urbanisation of Villa Gadea. This beach is designated dog-friendly for the entire season. Meaning you can also go swimming with your dog in the warm summer months.

Is there buses from airport or the beach as we don’t drive
Hi, you can get the Alsa bus from the Airport to central Benidorm and then a taxi from Benidorm to the Campsite. The Alsa bus stop is just outside the Airport arrivals entrance. Alternatively, you can get a direct bus via Beniconnect. They will bring you directy to the Campsite form the Airport.
